Steven Joseph Marchi, born November 2, 1967. \u00a0He was at various times, a son, a little brother, a child, a teen, a man, a body builder, a BMX\u00a0biker, a cowboy-boot wearing, buck-knife wielder, a gymnast, a kung-fu master, the incredible hulk, a fisherman, an outdoorsman, a water skier, a carpenter, an entertainer, a philosopher, a\u00a0masseuse, spiritualist and vegan. He was the recipient of a number of head wounds, receiving dozens of stitches. \u00a0He was compassionate and stubborn. \u00a0Serene and restless. \u00a0He was independent and needful. \u00a0He was around until I went to college, and then we were rarely together, except at holidays. \u00a0When he went into the world, he did it on his terms, refusing to be tied down by expectations or traditions. \u00a0Steven was always searching for his place.\u00a0\u00a0To his family he was absent and distant, an enigma with an ever-shifting plan to avoid being caught up in the status quo. \u00a0To his friends he was loyal and thoughtful, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. \u00a0He became a presence in people’s lives. \u00a0A Zen master of sorts, gliding through life sharing his philosophy. \u00a0Music became his life. \u00a0He was a talented song writer, and wanted nothing more than to play his guitar, sing and spread joy.<\/p>\n
