On August 12, 2011, pushed back from his laptop, grabbed his wallet and his keys, and told his roommate that he was running out for a little while.\u00a0 That little while stretched into days, then weeks, then months.\u00a0 He was eventually found, and the tale of his disappearance was as unique as his life up until that point.<\/p>\n
After nearly six months of holding our breaths, we finally received confirmation that Steven had indeed been found. \u00a0By that time most of us realized he was gone, but the University of North Texas had the final say.<\/p>\n
His remains have been donated to the university’s forensics department so they could help train future forensics students.<\/p>\n
To date there has been no memorial service.<\/p>\n
There will be no grave to visit.<\/p>\n
