I have only watched one episode of Malcolm in the Middle. \u00a0It was Season 6, Episode 10: “Billboard” which first aired on February 13, 2005 (http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0640287\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

In 2004\/2005, Steven went to L.A. to try his hand at acting. \u00a0He landed a role as an extra in one episode of a well-known sitcom. \u00a0He called to tell me he was going to be on T.V. \u00a0So Becky and I waited, and on the big night, made sure we were tuned in with TiVo at the ready to capture his big debut on the small screen.<\/p>\n

We watched the episode three or four times, trying to pick him out in the background crowd scenes. \u00a0It wasn’t until Malcolm in the Middle hit Netflix that I got to see more of Steve’s performance. \u00a0 He was out of the frame at 4:3, but shows up pretty prominently in one scene at 16×9.<\/p>\n

He didn’t speak, but it was unmistakably him.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
